Wedding :: George & Tristian
I love this couple, I've been meaning to post these pictures for a long time. With being busy editing TONS of other shoots and the busyness of the holidays I finally have a little time to post a few things! So thankful for a day off of my "real" job! Enjoy!

New Years resolution
I'm typically not your girl that sets resolutions. I've never been into it, and have never had the desire for typical resolutions. But this year is a little different. We're only on day one of 2013, and God is already bringing us out of a season and into a new one. Over the past 24 hours Jason and I have experienced more ups and downs than we did the whole month of December. We are so thankful to The Lord that he reigns, and has a perfect plan for us. We are not skilled to understand what God has willed and planned. And for that, we rejoice. This next year is going to be a year full of amazing things. Our ministry is beginning to become more clear as God reveals something new every day, Jason and I are both working on some music, I see my small little photography business growing. There are hundreds of changes and exciting things coming our way. With all this said, cheers to a happy new year.
Here's to change; My New Years resolution this year is to do what I love, and take pictures daily & be a more consistent blogger.
What is your resolution??

family :: salzmans
Anyone who has ever followed my blog will recognize this family. I LOVE them. They are by far one of my favorite families to photograph. Last month I was needing a photog refresher, and asked them if I could use their cute little family for a shoot. They never say no, and they are always a blast. With our busy schedules, we finally found time to take some photos before it got too cold out. I love the progression of watching these kids grow up.. I've been taking pictures of them for the past 3 years, and couldn't ask for a better family to watch grow!

Day of Thanks :: Day 8
Day eight: I am thankful for my Momma.
This one is a given. Anyone that knows me, knows my love for my mom. She is one of my most favorite people on this entire planet! My mom is the strongest woman that I know. She is AMAZING. That's right... amazing! My mom has taught me so much. She is the hardest working woman I know, she is crafty + artistic, has some of the best advice, and has so much love to give. I get so much of my personality from my mom. We have the same sense of humor, a lot of the same quirks, we're both super emotional (I blame that completely on her side of the family), and we both really like to antique. My mom is one of my best friends and I love any moment we get to spend together. Look at this lady, how could you not like her?

Day of Thanks :: Day 7
Day seven: I am thankful for my sisters.
I talked about my brother a couple days ago. He is biological. I do not have any biological sisters. I am so thankful that God has given me TONS of wonderful ladies to share and speak into my life. They are all so awesome. If I talked about each one this time of thankfulness would take like 75 days. Growing up I always had wished that I had a sister (or three). Now that I am older, I see why God didn't give me any blood sisters. I have so many great relationships with so many awesome ladies that I would never ask for anything else. I am SO blessed. Every week I am in awe at the things He does, and the ways that He uses these ladies to help me grow. So, Thanks God! You're pretty cool!
If I were to post pictures of all the people I'd like to post pictures of, this post would be about 12 pages long. So, I'll resist. If you wish to see pictures you can like my Facebook page and you're bound to see many pictures of them and their families! :)

Day of Thanks :: Day 5 + 6
Okay, okay. I know I missed a day. Life gets busy, that's why I typically don't do these feature so many days in a row things. I am always SO busy, so it's hard for me to post every day consistently. I am working really hard to change that because I love posting. Anyway, since I had two days open to do, I figured I would put them together. My husband is so worth two days of thanks, actually I would just talk about him and post pictures of us all ten days.. but you guys would probably get bored. I am so so SO thankful for him. He is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me (besides Jesus, of course. He is the obvious #1). Jason is the biggest blessing in my life. He teaches me so much and gives me so much insight on life. I love that he is a man of God, and stands up for what he believes in. He is so encouraging and so loving. Not to mention we look pretty dang good together :)

Days of Thanks :: Day four
Day four: I am thankful for my daddy.
Think what you want... I still call my dad, daddy. Most people that know me well, know my love for snowboarding. My dad has always been behind my snowboarding, he was the one who bought me my first snowboard. Made sure I got to the ski hill on a regular basis, and made sure I had a seasons pass so I could practice. I learned how to ski at a very young age and quickly took a liking to snowboarding. He has always encouraged me to practice and do my best at everything. I'm so thankful for his commitment to always encourage me to chase after my dreams. Another really cool thing about my dad is how much he loves the Brewers. This summer we went to my first brewers game, and it was so fun experiencing that with him! If I were to dig through photo boxes at my moms house I'm sure I could find countless photos of us growing up. I sadly do not have many pictures of him and I on my current computer.
